Gary, Annita & Tristan
February 25, 2009 – 9:53 pm
I know there have been a few pregnancy posts in a row, but honestly I have had so many lately. I always do a lot but this seems more than normal. I’m sure the crew up in labour and delivery have been very busy.
Annita was glowing when she came in with her hubby and son. Little Tristan wasn’t crazy about kissing mom’s tummy … boys will be boys. We caught him being so super cute though. Enjoy your sneak peak!

It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago, and I was taking their wedding photos. Time goes by quicker than I like to admit and here they are with a baby on the way. We played with some different patterns and I love this black and white one I recently added to my collection.
You look adorable Caitlin! Can hardly wait for the new arrival!

I couldn’t resist one wedding pic for a then and now!
Inspiration for my new love!
February 9, 2009 – 5:32 pm
It usually takes me awhile to catch up on my own family photos. So yes, I am just now doing last summers images and I came across one that gave me inspiration for my pottery. I have always loved nice pottery and when we made a near trip across Canada this summer … Manitoba, but if felt like it was across Canada … we say this old church that had Pottery painted on the roof shingles. I made my hubby turn around because we missed the turn off. I say “because he was going to fast”, he says “because I always tell him too late”. In any event, I made it inside and it was the cutest pottery collection I had seen. I’m not sure if it was because of the cute old church with the squeaky wood floors, the array of colorful pottery, or the friendly artist that greeted me … most likely a combination of all three! So if you are ever in the Moosejaw, Saskatchewan area, look for the sign on the shingles.
Cheers!
pottery … art … inspiration, what a weekend
February 9, 2009 – 2:38 pm
I have a confession to make… I have a new love. A love of pottery that is! I didn’t exactly pack up the camera though. I couldn’t resist taking some pics in between throwing pots on the wheel.
I had the pleasure of working with Bibi Clement all weekend. She had an abundance of knowledge to share with all of us. What is so amazing … she is nearly 70 years old. Oh, I hope I have her spunk at 70!! If you have the chance, you must check out her work. She will be the artist doing the opening exhibit at our new art gallery this June. A must must see!
Thanks Bibi, Candace, and all my fellow potters for a weekend full of laughter, fun, and kick butt pottery!
Love Lori

Martine
February 9, 2009 – 12:52 pm
I knew when Martine called to make her appointment, we were going to have fun. Having worked for me in the past and now venturing out on her own, Martine is no stranger to the camera. Martine and her sweet little girl were fabulous together. Thanks for being so adventurous and doing the nudes for me (none shown here for privacy of course).
I can hardly wait to meet your little guy and have him in for some super cute baby pics.
