I love what I do enough to withstand the crazy scheduling that comes with being a pro-photographer for 8 years. I love chocolate just about as much as I love my cup of java. I prefer quality over quantity, hiking over running, water over pop, family over work, laughing over crying, sushi over a big mac, and last but not least Canon over Nikon (I love that one).
You can find me running all over town for location shooting, but lets face it, we have long winters. My home serves as my studio. I had the pleasure of working with over 70 kindergarteners recently. They were so amazingly cute and adorable but I just can’t post them all. I will however post just this one as it was my favorite not only for the image but for the comments too. He says to me “What is in here? Are you sure I passed kindergarten it looks empty to me.”
I can just picture these photos right beside their highschool and university/college grad photos many many years from now!
This mom and dad brought in their stylish girls in their white and pink outfits. I knew right away it would look amazing with the orange background I have been dying to use. Thank you for being so brave and bold.

Yet another sweet baby in the studio. After putting in her time strutting her stuff for the camera, little Olivia fell asleep. We just kept shooting as there is something so sweet about a sleeping baby.
I know … it has been baby crazy around here. I just love it, and can not get enough of these cuties. I so enjoyed our discussions with mom and grandma (she came along as an extra set of hands is always a good thing with babies).
Look at this sweet baby girl. With all of this sunshine lately, I was inspired to use the natural light. I have to do this more often!

I couldn’t resist when mom, Vanessa asked me to take pics of little boy number three. I had to ask even if he is only a few days old … one more try for a girl. Vanessa tells me no, but I think if you give her a few sleepful nights she might change her mind.

Where does the time go? I ask myself that question all of the time. If you have tried calling or e-mailing me, you no doubt got a message letting you know I was on a holiday. What started out as a week turned into a couple of months. Don’t you wish we could all do that from time to time.
So for all of my faithful bloggers who have been wondering what I have been doing. Here’s the skinny in no particular order
I thought for sure the Smith’s were going to tell me this isn’t what they bargained for and it was toooo cold. Not this super tough family, we braved the elements and it was so much fun. Thanks for the super warm gloves Nic.
